Students in Benton County, Wash. made floats for different counties in the state

Mobile County, Ala. observed National County Government Month with a county-wide Earth Day Celebration at a county park.

Lancaster County, S.C. celebrated with a county employee barbecue.

Hidalgo County, Texas held an open house, while also celebrating Juror Appreciation Week.

Departments across Otter Tail County, Minn. recorded greetings, including the recorder's office.

Upshur County, W.V. commissioners visited Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School to explain to eighth graders what they did. This year's state-wide essay contest featured the theme “How does my county commission make life better for me?

Livingston County, Mich. thanked its municipalities and partners for helping connect the unconnected, NACo President Greg Cox's presidential initiative.
