National Association of Counties Welcomes New Director of White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs

WASHINGTON — The National Association of Counties (NACo) today welcomed Tom Perez to his new role as senior advisor and director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. Perez is a former county official, having served as a Montgomery County, Md. councilmember from 2002 to 2006.

NACo Executive Director Matthew Chase said:
