The Precinct 11 Motor Vehicle Registration Violation Identification Program is a joint effort between the Baltimore County Police Community Outreach personnel assigned to Precinct 11 and Investigative Agents assigned to the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration to identify vehicle registration violations. The Maryland Investigations Unit provides field agents, unmarked vehicles for their field agents, laptop computers connected to the MVA vehicle registration database and an Automatic License Plate Reader. The Precinct 11 Community Outreach Team provided uniformed police officers and marked Baltimore County police vehicles. The program was implemented to provide a proactive response to the large number of vehicle registration violations experienced in the numerous rental properties located in Precinct 11. Since the vehicles are parked at the ownerâs residence, the vehicles in violation are located, and enforcement action is taken prior to the vehicles entering the highways.
