PJAC is a five-year federal demonstration grant project that seeks to increase parents’ compliance with child support orders by increasing trust and confidence in the child support agency and its processes. The project examines if incorporating five (5) procedural justice principles (Respect, Understanding, Honesty, Voice and Neutrality) into business practices increases reliable child support payments to families. The goals are to increase reliable payments, reduce arrears, minimize the need for continued enforcement action and sanction, and reduce the inappropriate use of contempt (ACF). Franklin County CSEA is in its third year of the PJAC grant and is administered by one (1) Grant Manager, one (1) Social Program Developer and three (3) case managers.
