The Parks Adventure Bus is a collaboration between Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry and the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA), along with New York State Parks. The objective of the Adventure Bus is to provide free, accessible public transportation to area parks which are not already serviced by a regular bus route. In 2022, Adventure Bus service was offered on eight Saturdays throughout the summer with programming provided at each park upon arrival. Transportation through the Paratransit Access Line service for individuals in wheelchairs was also provided for each Adventure Bus route for patrons requiring that specialized service.
