The clerk’s office created electronic web-based application forms for applications for a marriage license. This allows marriage applicants to fill out their applications ahead of time and online, rather than by hand and at our counter. The data is directly imported into the clerk’s records management system. This allows applicants to submit applications at a time convenient to them. It also improves accuracy and saves time for the staff because they no longer have read handwritten applications or manually input data.
