The County of San Diego Treasurer-Tax Collector’s (TTC) office manages $6 billion to $9 Billion of local agency funds annually. The pool is currently made up of over 190 pool participants including county schools, water districts, fire districts and special districts located in the San Diego region. A quarterly newsletter called “MarketWatch” was created in an effort to improve the County’s communication with the participants. The objective was to inform the participants of current market conditions, inform participants of the changes to the pool investment strategy and to increase transparency on how their funds are being managed.
