Imagine Hudsonville 2030 is the new Citywide Master Plan that lays the foundation for Hudsonville to create a thriving and vibrant downtown, a village green that promotes family entertainment opportunities, a farmer’s market that is renowned throughout West Michigan, tree-lined street corridors, a network of interconnected pathways, and safe, clean, beautiful schools and neighborhoods. The Plan is a highly-visual, action-oriented, community-supported document that will guide the development of the City into the future. The Plan contains a series of Implementation Strategies that provide short-, mid-, and long-term action steps for the City. Each strategy is crafted to accomplish the City’s desire to be a distinctive, livable, vibrant, and connected community. High-resolution photographs accompany each strategy to illustrate the anticipated outcomes of more than 60 targeted actions. Imagine Hudsonville 2030 also includes a “Closer Look” section which provides several implementation strategies to refine and enhance the City’s downtown core such as building an amphitheater, improving parking, planting street trees, and creating a library/learning center. During the creation of Imagine Hudsonville 2030, community members provided valuable input that shaped the framework for the Plan and established a baseline understanding of what people value in their City.
