The HOPE Dorm is an innovative treatment program for suicidal patients within the Los Angeles County Jail. This program is a collaboration between Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Correctional Health Services mental health department. Patients with on-going risk of self-harm are placed in a dorm setting to increase safety and engagement and provided intensive treatment.
