The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency holds approximately 900 contracts with over 500 different organizations accounting for over $400 million per year in essential services for the citizens of San Diego County. Contracts are funded primarily through federal, state, and local resources, all with specific funding regulations and audit requirements. HHSA is a pass through entity of federal funds and is required to comply with OMB A-133 regulations. HHSA has centralized the A-133 compliance function within Agency Contract Support.
