The San Diego Treasurer-Tax Collector Office launched its E-Notification program in November 2012. The program is specifically designed to remind taxpayers that property tax payment will soon be due. The E-notification alerts have been programed to be sent to registered e-mail addresses, and can be easily accessed through a computer or mobile device. This is a free service that has been created to keep taxpayers informed and help ensure timely payment of property taxes as reported in the 50.3 percent increase in the first three peak collection periods of the program.
