Loudoun County Public Library and the Loudoun Arts Council collaborating on an artist residency project focusing on the creative process and art as a community builder. Artists are encouraged to use the residency to explore ideas, take risks, and solve problems. Since they are working in the open library, artists can engage with the public about their process and ideas. Patrons, in turn, can watch the artistic process in action and then actively work with the artist on a project to practice those skills or create their own interpretation.
