Navigating government programs can be confusing for business owners. That’s why Montgomery County, Ohio built a single point-of-entry for businesses to access the services available through local government. The Business Solutions Center houses a group of economic development and workforce specialists determined to see businesses succeed. The one-of-a-kind facility and staff provide support for workforce planning, navigating government requirements, help with finding state and local incentives and financial assistance, as well as a place for networking opportunities and state-of-the-art meeting rooms. All services and use of the facility and conference rooms are provided at no-charge for county businesses.The Business Solutions Center supports Montgomery County’s efforts to promote targeted industry sectors and attract new private investment by providing space for business planning and development. Through these efforts, the Business Solutions Center furthers collaboration between the local OhioMeansJobs services and the county’s Community and Economic Development department, and it helps to align business services with the needs of current and future companies.
