Robert Levy

Robert Levy is a retired public safety executive with 30 years of experience at the county government level.  After retiring in 2015, Mr. Levy consulted for a few start-up and technology companies and was recruited by one of those companies.   After several years of working in law enforcement technology, focused on account management and business development, Mr. Levy returned to consulting.  During this time, he was able to purchase, with partners, the AWARE IoT product line, creating a startup company.

During Mr. Levy’s 40 years of work experience, he has assisted public agencies while in public service and in the private sector.  Mr. Levy has been previously recognized by both the California State Attorney General and the California State Assembly for his efforts in furtherance of public safety in the areas of enforcement action, grants and communications infrastructure.

Mr. Levy is also an accomplished public speaker, presenting with boards, commissions, public groups and training conferences.  The most resent presentation was regarding IoT based flood sensing at the National Hydrologic Warning Council at Breckenridge, Colorado in 2023.
