About Rachel
Rachel serves as NACo’s legislative assistant for transportation and agriculture & rural affairs. In this role, she analyzes legislation and regulatory actions and manages administrative responsibilities across these policy areas. She previously supported NACo’s environment, energy and land use policy portfolio. Before joining NACo, Rachel interned with the natural resources team in the Office of U.S. Senator Robert P. Casey, Jr. (D-Pa.), worked on congressional campaigns and contributed to various nonprofit organizations. She also served as a research assistant in Penn State’s Political Science Department examining how gender impacts political survival in democratic political systems. A proud alumna of the Pennsylvania State University, Rachel holds undergraduate degrees in history and political science as well as a Master of Public Policy (MPP) with a concentration in nutrition and agriculture policy.
