Michael Abbott

Mike graduated from St. John Fisher University with a B.S. in Corporate Finance and a minor in Data Science. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) from St. Bonaventure University, graduating with top academic honors.

Mike has been with three+one for five years, originally joining as an intern and now serving as a Relationship Specialist supporting public entities. He also works closely with banking and investment partners on behalf of the entities he serves to ensure they are getting the most out of their liquidity and treasury services data.

In addition to helping clients leverage the information in cashVest, Mike has developed unique financial models that allow entities to look deeper into their data and optimize the value of their cash. He has written and coordinated RFPs for banking and financial services for a wide range of clients, including those with general fund budgets as high as $3 billion. He currently provides advanced custom reporting tools to public entities across the country to enhance their strategic decision-making and collaborates closely with a range of large entities in Alaska, Colorado, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington.

In his free time, Mike coaches several youth soccer teams and serves on the board of directors for a local soccer club. He enjoys staying fit through yoga and plays in a men's soccer league. He looks forward to spending more time traveling, with Italy at the top of his list.
