Jeremy Striffler

Jeremy Striffler is the Director of Real Estate for the Austin Independent School District, which serves over 73,000 students in Austin, Texas. He manages Facility Use, generating over $1.5 million in revenue annually for campuses, and supports the implementation of the district’s $2.5 billion bond program. In addition, Jeremy is responsible for the acquisition, disposition and repositioning of district land.

Jeremy began his career in commercial real estate in 2006 at Vornado Realty Trust in New York City supporting their retail leasing and marketing efforts. After completing his M.B.A., he joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2011, providing lease, buy, and sell services for corporations, nonprofits, and education organizations, as well as supporting site selection, client relations, and project management. Some notable past clients include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, Fairview Health Services, Land O’Lakes, U.S. Bank, TCF Bank, Volunteers of America, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. Further, Jeremy guided and collaborated with public school districts, such as Saint Paul Public Schools, Osseo Area Schools and Anoka-Hennepin School District, and charter schools, including KIPP and Metro Deaf Charter School, to align their real estate strategy and decisions with their mission.
