About Charlotte
Charlotte Mitchell Duyshart is the Associate Legislative Director for Environment, Energy and Land Use at the National Association of Counties (NACo). She serves as staff liaison to the Environment, Energy and Land Use policy steering committee where she focuses on county priorities related to water infrastructure, energy stability and land use authority.
Prior to joining NACo, Charlotte worked as a senior legislative assistant in the Oklahoma congressional delegation spending time in both the U.S. House and U.S. Senate. Charlotte holds a Masters of Public Administration from the George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in political science and communication from the University of Oklahoma.
