Carolyn Secor is a seasoned public procurement professional with extensive experience leading complex purchasing operations at the county government level.
As the Purchasing Agent for the County of Broome in New York she oversees critical procurement functions that ensure government services run smoothly, including term contracts, commodity acquisition, and surplus property management.
She currently serves as President of the New York State Association of Municipal Purchasing Officials (NYSAMPO) , where she champions professional development, best practices, and collaboration among municipal procurement leaders statewide. She sits on the Procurement Advisory Committee for National Association of Counties (NACo) Public Promise Procurement helping shape national strategies to strengthen procurement practices and maximize value for counties and serves on the Corporate Board of the Municipal Electric & Gas Alliance (MEGA) supporting cooperative energy procurement initiatives that deliver cost savings and sustainability benefits to local governments.
