Amy Maxson

Amy is NACo's senior program manager for public health. She leads the Public Health Leadership Network which aims to help county officials understand, communicate, integrate, and prioritize public health principles and concepts into their policy priorities and local county decision making. Prior to joining NACo, Amy worked as a senior program analyst at the National Association of County and City Health Officials, working with local health departments to improve vaccination rates. Amy holds a master's degree in public health from the George Washington University.
