    Teresa Acuña is a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Department of Labor (DoL). Prior to joining the DoL, Ms. Acuña was the Associate Director of Democratic Governance Programs at the Harvard Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation. She was the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda's Director of Policy and Leadership Programs and is a former legislative director at the U.S. House of Representatives and legislative representative for the California Special Districts Association and served as legislative director for the California State Assembly and legislative aide for the California State Senate. She has a masters of public administration from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
