About Roberta Eckert
Roberta Eckert, CRPC, CHSA, CLTC, RICP, RCC, joined Nationwide in 2013 and has been in the financial services industry for over 32 years. As Vice President of the Nationwide Retirement Institute, Roberta delivers thought leadership concepts and programs for financial professional and client-facing audiences and is dedicated to providing financial professionals with practice-building insights and actionable solutions for improving clients’ financial health and retirement outcomes.
Her proven approach to public speaking combines an engaging style with a passion for guiding others in deciphering the risks, nuances and oftentimes intricate nature of retirement and retirement income planning.
Prior to Nationwide, Roberta worked as a wholesaler, Divisional Vice President, Sales Development Leader, Senior Relationship Manager and National Spokesperson for several Tier 1 firms. During her career, Roberta has earned recognition as a top-performing wholesaler and has won awards based on sales achievement and leadership. While at Nationwide, Roberta has consistently qualified for the President’s Council and has been awarded the Nationwide Retirement Institute’s Thought Leader of the Year award.
She has been sought out by the media, including Kiplinger, The Wealth Advisor and CNN, for her insights on Social Security benefits and the financial issues facing women today. Her areas of focus are retirement income planning and distribution, Social Security, Medicare. Long Term Care, affluent investor acquisition, and the unique issues facing women as they navigate retirement.
Roberta graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with degrees in Economics and German. In addition to CRPC®, CLTC® and RICP® designations, Roberta holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 66 licenses.
Roberta and her husband, Dane, live in Williamsburg, Virginia.
