About Mike Kumazawa

Mike Kumazawa is a program management analyst with Ventura County, California's County Executive Office, Budget & Finance Division. In this role, he serves as the CEO analyst for the Public Works Agency, General Services Agency, Department of Libraries and Department of Child Support Services. In addition to these responsibilities, he leads various special projects for the CEO, including county fleet analysis, facility condition assessments, capital improvement projects, community benefit agreements and acts as a liaison between the county and various community organizations, special districts and cities within the region. Recently, he has taken on a leadership role within Ventura County's COVID Financial Team, helping deliver and execute on the county’s response to the COVID-19 public health emergency and utilization of the county’s various COVID-19-related funding streams, including the CARES Act CRF, FEMA Public Assistance and ARPA State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. Mike has a bachelors of arts in business administration from the University of Puget Sound and a masters of business administration with an emphasis in finance from Pepperdine University.
