About Marquis Hines
Officer Marquis Hines is a Police Officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). After serving four years in the United States Air Force, he joined LVMPD and has been with the department for seven years. Since joining the department, Marquis has worked as a corrections officer at Clark County Detention Center and North Valley Complex and a patrol officer within the valley. He has also been a part of Community Oriented Policing and is currently assigned to the Office of Community Engagement. Officer Hines, along with Officer Lissette Ruiz, oversees the development and implementation of the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion Program (LEAD) for LVMPD.
Officer Hines received his bachelor’s degree from Ashford University in Marketing and Public Relations as well as an associate degree in Fire Science from the Community College of the Air Force.
