About LaTrina Foster

LaTrina R. Foster, LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) is the Director for the Fulton County (Ga.) Government Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities. She has been with the Department since 2008, serving as the Performance and Quality Improvement Manager and Interim Director of Clinical Services. She has provided case management services and therapeutic interventions to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Ms. Foster has provided training to therapeutic foster parents to cultivate a safe living environment for youth living with posttraumatic stress disorder. Ms. Foster has a wealth of experience providing individual, group, and family therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults living with mental health and/or substance use disorders.  She has provided clinical supervision to student interns and licensed clinicians. In addition, she has provided educational opportunities to professionals working with children and adolescents as a presenter at The National Youth @ Risk Conference and Cross-Cultural Diversity Conference.
