Kyla Cloutier

Kyla Cloutier is a CAS Director, Analytic Solutions based outside of Austin, Texas. She joined UnitedHealth Group 6 years ago as a Senior Health Analytics Consultant where her responsibilities included creation of data driven insights into customer specific cost and utilization experience, strategic plan design analysis, and other consultant opportunities for customer plan designs.  Today she leads a team of health analytic consultants focused on National Account, Key Account, and Market clients.

Prior to coming to UnitedHealthcare, Kyla served on the client side in multiple roles for the largest self-funded public sector organization in Texas for over seven years: first as a Contract Manager then later as a Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist. Analyzing plan data and researching industry solutions was a large part of her role as a plan administrator in addition to managing large third-party administrator contracts, benefit design, and member issues.

Further previous experience includes years of contract management between hospital systems and insurance payors to ensure proper revenue cycle billing relationship.  Kyla also worked for many years in physician offices with a variety of responsibilities from claims billing to medical records management.

Kyla holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor focus in Philosophy and Certificate of Business Ethics from Texas State University – San Marcos.  Her undergraduate is a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy.
