About Julie Chávez Rodriguez

Julie Chavez Rodriquez is the director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs. In this capacity, she serves as the primary liaison to engage state, local and tribal government officials to address the most pressing issues impacting our country and communities.  Previously, she served as state director for U.S. Senator Kamala Harris, multiple senior leadership roles in the Obama White House, and as program director at the Cesar Chavez Foundation. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California-Berkeley.
