Hon. Jennifer Henderson

Hon. Jennifer Henderson is in her second term as Schleicher County treasurer. She is a Mississippi native and graduated from Mississippi College with a bachelors degree in business. She moved to Texas in 2003 and first worked in county government as the deputy tax assessor/collector from 2005 to 2006. The Schleicher County Treasurer’s Office handles accounts payables, payroll, human resources, IT, risk management, investments and wellness programs. She is currently the President of the County Treasurers’ Association of Texas and Vice-Chair of Texas Association of Counties (TAC) County Information Resources Board. She was honored in 2018 by TAC with the Iris Stagner Award for her work as a county wellness coordinator and in 2019 as the Texas Outstanding County Treasurer of the Year.
