Hon. David Nicholson

David L. Nicholson was elected Jefferson County Circuit Court Clerk in 2006 and re-elected in 2012 and 2018. Mr. Nicholson is the President of the Kentucky Association of Counties (KACo), a member of the National Association of Counties Board of Directors, Vice Chair of the Courts and Corrections Subcommittee for the Justice and Public Safety Steering Committee and a member of the Large Urban County Caucus and the Programs and Services Committee. Mr. Nicholson is a former president of the Kentucky Association of Civil Court Clerks and an alum of NACo's County Leadership Institute. Prior to becoming Circuit Court Clerk, Mr. Nicholson served as the Executive Director of the Louisville Metro Criminal Justice Commission.
