Dr. J'Vonnah Maryman

Dr. J’Vonnah Maryman is currently the Associate Director - Family Health Services at Tarrant County Public Health. Family Health Service programs include:

·17P Prematurity Prevention
·Fetal Infant Mortality Review
·Child Fatality Review
·Chronic Disease
·Community Youth Development
 

Dr. Maryman holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Kansas School Of Medicine and a Doctorate in Community Psychology from Wichita State University.

She has worked in Public Health for over 15 years in maternal child health focused programming, community outreach and education, and public health performance. She is currently participating in the CityMatch CityLeaders Program. She utilizes community based participatory research concepts in the delivery of program services and she believes the goals of Public Health are best achieved when those affected are part of the solution.
