About Christina Nicholas

Christina Nicholas is a social worker with more than 20 years of professional experience providing mental health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services for children, adolescents, and adults. She has presented at numerous professional conferences, as well as providing community presentations and trainings related to substance misuse and treatment.

Christina’s outpatient and residential treatment services, along with her clinical supervision experience exemplifies her extensive background in the behavioral health field. Currently, Christina is the Administrator of Substance Use Disorder Prevention and Treatment Services for one of Michigan’s ten pre-paid inpatient health plans (PIHP), Oakland Community Health Network. In this role she manages all publicly funded SUD treatment and prevention services in Oakland County which includes over thirty substance abuse service agencies.
