Arturo Romero

Arturo Romero is a Technical Project Officer at the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of State and Community Energy Programs with the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grants Program. He has experience as an Energy Engineer in the field conducting audits, site surveys, and evaluating efficiency measures in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. He also has experience analyzing energy & cost measurement data to develop technical potential and behavioral studies of energy efficiency & renewable energy projects. Arturo has collaborated with engineers to develop large, complex turn-key solutions in building automation & controls, HVAC, generation, energy storage, and retrofit projects for the public/private sector. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso
