Amanda Kellar

Amanda Kellar is the Director of Legal Advocacy / Associate Counsel for the International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA).  In this capacity, she coordinates IMLA’s legal advocacy services for municipalities seeking amicus assistance before the United States Supreme Court and in some cases of national importance, before federal and state appellate courts.  IMLA has a robust legal advocacy program and filed over thirty briefs in the last year on behalf of IMLA members on issues ranging from employment law and Section 1983 / qualified immunity matters to tax and federalism issues.  Prior to joining IMLA, Ms. Kellar was an employment litigator and counselor with Hirsch Roberts Weinstein, a small boutique law firm in Boston, Massachusetts.
