“As representatives of more than 3,000 county governments across the nation, we congratulate President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect J.D. “County officials are focused on strengthening local economies, providing essential services and ensuring public safety. We know firsthand the opportunities and challenges facing communities,” said Chase. “Strong cooperation with the White House and Congress is essential to improving the lives of our residents, and we look forward to building on intergovernmental partnerships and dialogues like the County Days roundtable series of President-elect Trump’s first administration.”
Chase concluded, “The election process is core to our democracy. We offer our heartfelt gratitude to more than a half million county elections officials, poll workers and volunteers who worked hard to ensure a safe, secure election.
