The hardest thing I've ever done is: Bury my parents.

A dream I have is to: Travel by boat to Mobile, Ala., down the Tombigbee Waterway.

The most adventurous thing I've ever done is: Hike 70 miles of the Appalachian Trail.

My favorite way to relax is to: Spend time with my family on the lake.

I'm most proud of: Serving in the United States Marine Corps.

Every morning I read: A couple newspapers.

My favorite meal is: My wife’s spaghetti.

My pet peeve is: Workers on their cell phone while pretending to wait on me.

My motto is: It’s not what you gather, but what you scatter.

You'd be surprised to learn: I attended high school in Green Bay, Wisconsin and played football games at Lambeau Field.

My favorite music: ‘60s and ‘70s
