On June 16, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) signed into law a bill that realigns mental health funding from county property taxes to the state. The legislation, which includes other tax reduction measures, transfers funding to the state for Iowa’s 14 mental health regions that are made up of Iowa counties.
