    Jonathan Harris

    Jonathan is the associate research director in the Counties Futures Lab. He works on a wide range of research projects and has authored or coauthored NACo reports on the opioid epidemic, affordable housing, state revenue limitations and mandates, service sharing, early childhood development, the gig economy and top county challenges. He also serves as NACo’s liaison to the International Economic Development Task Force.

    Jonathan holds a M.A. in integral economic development policy from The Catholic University of America and a B.A. in philosophy, politics and economics from Eastern University. Previously, Jonathan worked as a research and teaching assistant at Catholic University and taught English in Nicaragua.

Jonathan is the associate research director in the Counties Futures Lab.
