Jack Peterson

Deputy Director of Government Affairs

Jack Peterson serves as NACo's Deputy Director of Government Affairs and staffs NACo's Finance, Pensions and Intergovernmental Affairs Policy Steering Committee. He has also staffed both the Human Services and Education Policy Steering Committee and Veterans and Military Services Committee, served as a Legislative Assistant and supported NACo’s association management services for the National Association of County Veterans Service Officers and the National Association of Pretrial Services Agencies.

Prior to joining NACo, Jack was a government relations associate for Urban Swirski & Associates and worked in multiple offices on Capitol Hill. Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Davidson College, just north of Charlotte, N.C.
