WakeGov TV is a television program produced by the Wake County Public Affairs Office for citizens, partners, and employees across the county. It incorporates stories about the Board of Commissioners’ focus areas and goals that address opportunities and challenges posed by a rapidly growing urban county. Every month they produce an episode that engages the audience about issues related to the ten high priority goals of the Board of Commissioners. They take the viewer to locations that they might not ordinarily have the opportunity to attend, therefore providing them with local news about the county that they may have otherwise missed. They cover issues and topics from air pollution to zoning, providing news about vital information and services to the public.
