virginia Randolph Knights Give Back is a comprehensive community based service-learning project that was introduced to The Academy at Virginia Randolph students at the beginning of the 2009 school year. The program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to participate in projects that benefit the citizens of Henrico County. The program recieved grant to help offset the costs of providing lunches fo rthe students while they participated on full-day community service-learning field trips. This program provides the students with an opportunity to learn more about existing programs within Henrico County, as well as allowing them to participate in a way that genuinely deepends their understanding of the community's needs at minimal cost.
