As part of its ongoing eGovernment initiative, Oakland County created a new biweekly series of informational videos featuring topics of interest to people who live, work, play, and do business in Oakland County. The County also created a new Video Center to help citizens find, view, and share County videos. The goal of the Video Center is to provide timely, relevant, easily accessible, informative and entertaining videos that highlight Oakland County government programs and services, and the high quality of life within the County. New videos are released every two weeks, and sometimes more frequently, with each covering a different topic such as new services, programs, seasonal activities, special events, and citizens to search or browse all videos to popular social bookmarking services and social networking sites. Selected County videos are also available via the popular media outlet iTunes.
