In order to implement the Board of County Commissionersâ vision of enhancing internal and external service delivery efficiency and cultivating self-sufficiency for all residents through education, information and involvement, it was time for Jefferson County to modernize the delivery of online services via the web. The countyâs internal and external websites now provide Jeffco employees and citizens with primary online access to informative and critical services and information. This modernization included the replacement of outdated technology/software, the redesign of business processes, leveraging cost-efficient cloud services to increase citizen engagement/accountability, a consistent user experience via multiple channels, and a streamlined process of communicating to citizens and employees in real-time.
