New Hanover County Library's StoryStation Project places children's books, educational manipulatives, and early literacy information in the waiting area of several New Hanover County (NHC) departments. The StoryStations provide multiple benefits: supporting the county's strategic goal of supporting early childhood education; making parents and caregivers better aware of NHC Library materials and services; and smoothing waiting-related frustration.
