Launched in 2018, STEM Inspires Girls to Move Ahead, also referred to as S.I.G.M.A, excites, educates, and empowers middle school aged girls by engaging them in high-quality Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics/Manufacturing (STEM) programming over 4 weeks. The S.I.G.M A curriculum is designed to instill confidence, determination, and motivation in girls to cultivate a positive relationship for the potential pursuit of STEM career paths, especially during a crucial time in their academic and personal growth. Through this program, we champion equity in STEM education for all middle school aged girls.
