Senior Planet Montgomery is a series of weekly free courses and single day lectures that are offered at recreation centers and libraries all over Montgomery County to provide seniors with an opportunity to learn how to use and engage digital technology. This collaboration between Montgomery County Recreation, the Department of Technology Services and the non-profit Older Adults Technology Services was established to promote technology education and engagement in the senior community. The program shares information and resources that support aging and helps seniors who were born long before the digital revolution to stay engaged and active by bringing a digital-technology focus to a range of topics – among them news, health, art and design, senior style, travel and entertainment.
