Pool Pals is a six week poll-based program for youth with disabilities, the program offers youth a positive water experience where youth can socialize, acclimate to the water, lay games and have fun. Through the use of songs, games, visuals, and props, youth were able to adjust to the water, become more confident in the water, and improve basic swim skills. The program was offered to three age groups: preschool (age 2-5), youth (age 6-9), and age 10-12. During the six week sessions, youth were engaged in water activities which focused on promoting positive peer interaction and personal growth.
