The County of San Bernardino Transitional Assistance Department (TAD) and Performance, Education & Resource Centers (PERC) designed the Policy Review Program as a new approach for creating and presenting training using workgroup developed materials and an e-Learning Network. Training of staff administering Federal and State programs in a cost-effective and efficient manner is critical to the success of the County meeting its goals to serve the public and maintain performance and quality outcomes. Challenges include frequently changing regulations, business process changes, and a large and geographically dispersed workforce. This approach promotes a consistent, interactive, adaptable and readily available learning environment.
