Businesses in Montgomery County Maryland now have improved access to information on County-government laws, regulations and services through the Montgomery County Business Portal (MCBP). The Portal is modeled on national best practices and based on input from an extensive survey of businesses that was conducted in 2016. Integrating information from multiple County departments, the MCBP is a single point of entry that makes it easier for businesses to start, grow and thrive in the County. The Portal is designed from the perspective of the business – what does a business need to know… when do they need to know it… what will make it easy for them to find the specific information they need? What services does the County offer to them to help them start and grow successful businesses? Now Montgomery County businesses have a gateway to the information they need to interact effectively with the County government.
