Orange County Government, Visit Orlando and Orlando Economic Partnership collaborated on an integrated campaign to educate Orange County businesses and residents on health and safety measures, encouraging participation setting an example for future visitors, stop the spread of COVID-19 and emerge from the shutdown Safer, Stronger, Together. The campaign successfully drove local compliance and adoption of safety measures; positively positioned Orlando nationally as a safe destination attracting more visitors; and Orange County had the lowest percentage of deaths vs. cases in any major metropolitan area in Florida and county average of transmissions & deaths was 40% lower than state average.
