Legislative eLearning Series The Legislative eLearning Series is designed to educate citizens about the Honolulu City & County. Specifically, the program focuses on government structure and the legislative process. The eLearning series is tailored for persons with a minimal base knowledge and is presented in a module format. Each module is a graphically-based online video, with accompanying support materials to enhance the lesson. Support materials include interactive quizzes, examples, document templates, and links to additional online resources. Targeting students and teachers, the module titled “City Government and the Legislative Branch” provides a basic introductory overview to government structures and the legislative process. While the “Introduction to Legislative Drafting” aims to provide beginning drafting skills to those interested in legislative drafting. All modules are “self-study” and the online video platform allows users to go at their own desired pace. The Legislative eLearning Series is a permanent program that was launched on April 1, 2015, in conjunction with Honolulu’s National County Government Month as part of outreach activities.
